Leehom's new single, Lose Myself 忘我 feat. DJ Avicii is finally out! I loved it immediately, I don't know what it is about yet, but the tune is pretty awesome. C-pop + EDM FTW! :) Can't wait to download it from iTunes and set it to countless repeat! :)

Here's this link to the song, but it is not from his official channel, so I don't know if this is leaked. It's already going around on FB right now. I remember though that the release date was supposed to be today. We'll see. I'll embed the YouTube vid here when his channel posts it up.

Mm the point of this post is two-pronged: to celebrate the release of the song, and also to show the kind of weirdo I am, one who's fixated on what most might consider trivial and has the need to point out typos and stuff by making a comment on the video and then proceed to blog about it at 2:45AM when she should really be trying to finish her work. I am pissed off at myself tonight, and I'm trying to distract myself from dwelling on that I guess, even though doing this is making it worse. Sigh, someone please humour me.

Anyway, I can't help it! I made that comment below for the poster to fix his name, but the entire title bugs me very much. Other than the L in his name, the F in Feat. should be lowercase too. There shouldn't be a space between Myself and the colon (some people like it like that, perhaps for the visual balance, but it's not a generally accepted convention. I don't think the colon is necessary at all here.

The title should go like this: Wang Leehom feat. Avicii - Lose Myself 忘我

So yeah kthnxbai.

I love my Instagram but there are two things that annoy me:

1. OTT fangirl gushiness and marriage proposals. Srsly, did you think that your idol will go, "Oh so many hearts in this comment. Why, The least I could do is to marry her!" You poor girl.

2. More hashtags than number of words in caption. So messy! And do you reeeeallly need to? Offenders are usually photobugs. Yes I am still your friend and the least that I'm doing is being passive-aggressive about this, cos I know how much it means to you.. not. Sorry.

sigh. why won't they understand that it's not PERSONAL when you post it for all and sundry to see. it's like walking naked down the road and telling ppl that it's your private parts and they are not supposed to see them. if they are so private, then you keep them hidden. get a private blog, or a personal diary, or a friend.. FB is a PUBLIC forum. whilst a virtual space, it's still public. and when in public, i sure do hope someone's taught you some basic etiquette about how to behave yourself. you can't post inflammatory or seditious or misogynistic or abusive statements and go 'lol, just thinking out loud'. argh. ke-stupid-an yang teramat sangat! grrr..

oops if you terasa, you can't take offense cos (and i know you'd agree): this is like MY personal space..

srsly, how diff is it to get my name right? it's only a 5-letter word ler. i've also gotten Ellise, Elise, Elis before. those are not me lar. and ya, I've tried correcting someone before but she repeated it in the next email - I gave up.. maybe it's the proofreader in me, or maybe it's misplaced pride, but it irks me.

my hubby gets it worse: Thed, Thadius, Thaddious.. i tink "Tedius" is by far the funniest. hahaha.. but his name is more difficult to spell. interesting that we both have very uncommon names.

but really, there's no need to embark on a full research, it's just averting the eyes by 10 degrees to check the previous email. I would appreciate it if you would just try.. :)
