we just came back from church camp in cameron highlands. it's got my vote as the best camp site we've ever had. loved the things we got to do and the places we went during the afternoon free and easy. loved the chilly fresh air. there was even a starbucks just across the street for those missed a slice of yuppiness. -_- we had a good camp speaker too: ps benjamin chew fr cornerstone city church, spore who delivered simple (and LOUD haha) yet timely and much needed reminders for our faith.
pic taken from Bala's hotel and cafe which shares a similar ambience (and price!) to that of Olde Smokehouse. had a good tete-a-tete over tea and some warm fluffy scones that evening *heart* thank you. :) went back to this place again the next day with hubby and another couple. in total, i ate 4 scones in 2 days. diet fail but i like! :D
will be putting up some pics in FB tmr and maybe cerita more. withdrawal syndrome kicking in rite now. back to checking work emails for now. :(
