somewhat sille, that's me!

the rug that was the quiet afternoon today was pulled from under our feet as the news that an ex-colleague met an accident on his way to work today reached our gtalk. he didn't make it. :( no one knew what happened, as there were no other vehicles involved, and this was on MEX, a relatively smooth highway. he just lost control of the vehicle i guess.

this just sucks. the family is surely devastated (two of his sibs were my ex-colls too). i knew they were super close. i can't imagine what they are going through. me and him were merely acquaintances, but as he was close to some other colls, i've had anecdotes shared to me of him which made me feel like i knew him when we've barely exchanged a word, maybe just a smile if ever. he was a rather shy and quiet person. sigh. so young. :( i'm sorry.
