Srsly, I NEED to watch this man live in action just so I can say that I have lived. His showmanship and musicianship is just.. impeccable. That's quite a ball he looks like he's having up there! ^_^
On a side note, some of his fans have been urging him to release an English album (gathered this from the comments I've read on youtube whenever he does English song covers). I however disagree with the idea, because I think it's not a right fit for him and that the market demand is not really there (but then again, knowing his fans *ahem* they'd probably buy old newspapers endorsed by him :). And honestly, his previous English songwriting effort hasn't exactly been noted for being stellar (sorry for being blunt!). Anyways, he has said that an English album is not something that he wants to do. He must have taken a ride in the time machine to the present and read and concurred with what I've written here..good fer ya, buddy! :D
That said, I think he should do a jazz-infused chinked-out or rock album, if not a full fledged jazz record. He is well at ease with the genre (just watch *this* or *this*), having studied jazz piano at the Williams College and later at Berklee College of Music, both prestigious institutions in their own right. Read *this* (a 2009 interview with Berklee), and check out the purple sidebar column by his Williams jazz professor, Andy Jaffe, who wrote:
At one [of Lee Hom's concerts], we played jazz and Leehom sang the Lambert, Hendricks & Ross version of Cottontail. We did it with three voices at Williams, but for this concert, Leehom learned the highlights of each of the three parts and sang them-even Annie Ross's parts. It was pretty impressive... The other concert featured his band and I just sat in when he sang I Feel Good by James Brown.

He's dabbled with jazz sporadically in his past albums (case in point, the song in this post, and also *here*), and those just serve to whet our appetite for moarr. My admiration for the Music Man hasn't found its limit yet. *w00t!* Like the song about the funny bunny, the song in today's post is also bouncy tune.. and I just love, love, love it. *whee!*
