along with the
videos, Oxford Union have also posted
photos from Leehom's session, and i have picked out here some of my favs!
|
after his speech, Leehom was presented with an Oxford hoodie.. which he promptly put on and voila, instant transformation from suave to geeky! |
|
he certainly struck gold with his gene pool!
just look at him, he could easily pass off as one of them, and these are kids who are at least a decade younger. now Leehom, tell us, where specifically is that pool of immortality that you fell into? or where do you keep your bottle of the elixir of life? c'mon, 'fess up! :D |

om nom nom, munches the cookie monster :D
the cookies were a gift from a fan, check out the video here. i'm actually really curious about what it was and how it tasted like? according to him, these are world famous. okay, not world, UK famous! curiouso, curiouso! |

hmm, an old book. i wonder if i could steal a sniff... |
|
smells like... an old book.
hahahahahha.. this photo just killed it for me! :D but did you know, most bibliophiles love the smell of old books? i do too, although it would be a stretch to call me a b-phile haha.. but let's get geeky about this for a bit. according to scientists, "the aroma of an old book is [a] combination of grassy notes with a tang of acids and a hint of vanilla over an underlying mustiness, this unmistakable smell is as much a part of the book as its contents. It is the result of the several hundred volatile organic compounds (VOCs) off-gassing from paper and the object in general. The particular blend of compounds is a result of a network of degradation pathways and is dependent on the original composition of the object including paper substrate, applied media, and binding." no, I didn't make that up! |
